Happy Halloween!

I realize that it has been forever since our last post, and from now on I am going to try and do smaller posts so it's not so overwhelming! This past month has been fun-filled to say the least. We spent the last week of September back home in California. We had an amazing time and we were lucky enough to meet up with almost everybody. I have to check but I may have written a blog post about the trip and forgot to post it. I'll have to check on that. :)

The Fall/Halloween craziness has hit Hawaii. People LOVE Halloween here and our neighborhood goes all out with the decorations. Tegan ate our scarecrow from last year so all we have is a nice welcome pumpkin out on the porch. :)

This past weekend we tried a hike recommended to us called Manana Trail. It's a steep walk down from a ridge into valley and at the bottom you hit a waterfall and a couple of pools. Alex was the brave one on this trip and tried out some the jumps.  The walk back up is called Heart Attack hill but luckily we survived!

In 3 days we have 2 of our best friends, Gracie and Jon, coming to visit! That trip should make for a good post. It's been almost 3 whole weeks since we last parted!
