The birthday weekend was a success. Here's a little photo journal of our birthday adventures!
I took Henley to my favorite restaurant for his Birth-DAY lunch...Souplantation! He was loving the tiny baby ice cream cones and mac and cheese. You only get one 1st birthday!
Big Disneyland Day! I made a cute little banner for his stroller which he immediately tore off!
He screamed for the train as soon as we entered the maingate. Unfortunately, we did have time to ride it.
Gotta get those Mickey ears and birthday pin!
He wore these for approximately 30 seconds, and only because I distracted him with snacks. (Ignore my dad's face on the stroller! haha)
He had such a great day at the parks. We rode Nemo Submarines, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Little Mermaid. We even stayed for Mad Hatter Tea Party and World of Color. He was such a trooper all day. I wish we had more time to wait in line to see some characters because he loved to watch them. I am so glad and thankful that we were able to spend his birthday at Disneyland. It's sometime I've dreamed about for many years. Now I just need to convince Dad to let us buy a pass. haha
Sunday was Henley's mustache bash! The party turned out great. We were surrounded by so many loving family and friends.
Henley was not a huge fan of the mustaches.
The stick-on mustaches were a hit!
Henley even fell asleep on Dev right in the middle of the party! He really is growing up.
Henley with his smash cake. We tried to just give it to him but he wouldn't touch it until we gave him a fork. Happy man!
I love my family!
Now on to start the next adventure of our lives: Toddlerhood!
